Channel 2’s Candace McCowan was at sporting shops on Wednesday who say they can’t keep Dream gear on the shelves.
“We’re all sold out. We get more merchandise in, but it went quick for the last game,” The Fan’s Wear owner Donnie McLemore said.

He says demand is so high for hats, T-shirts and more, that they can’t get it in fast enough.
“We reach out to the vendors we know can get it here, but as soon as it comes in, people they can’t find it anywhere,” McLemore said. “They’re calling and when they come in, they just buy it. They buy it for them, for other members of the family.”
McCowan checked larger stores like Dick’s Sporting Goods, which shows items in stock online. But when she called, they told her that once you get to the store, you may not find what it says online.
McLemore’s store has merchandise for every Atlanta team and far beyond, but he says Atlanta Dream gear has been hard to come by because it’s just not available.

“It’s just limited because a lot of vendors just don’t license the merchandise,” he explained. “It’s picking up speed, especially with all the increased interest, and how well they’ve done this year. But until then, it is just a lot of people don’t have a lot of WNBA merchandise.”
Fans are anxiously waiting for vendors to provide more merchandise.
“The way they’ve taken us to the ‘ship. Has the Hawks taken us to the ‘ship lately? Just saying! It’s worth the price,” fan Christa Denard said.
