No. 19 Texas A&M volleyball held its position in the latest AVCA Top 25 after splitting two home matches against Florida and Auburn.
The Aggies began the weekend with a four-set loss to then-No. 7 Florida. A&M committed 31 attacking errors and hit only .112, allowing the Gators to pull away despite the Aggies finishing with more kills. Florida moved up two spots to No. 5 after defeating Texas and A&M.

Texas A&M responded Sunday by defeating Auburn in four sets on Senior Day. The Aggies produced a season-high 73 kills and had four players reach double figures, led by Kyndal Stowers with 21. Gabi Rodriguez also recorded her first double-double with 16 digs and 10 assists.
The victory ended a three-match losing streak and improved A&M to 11-8 overall and 4-3 in SEC play. Remaining at No. 19 gives the Aggies some stability after they dropped seven spots in the previous poll following road losses to Oklahoma and Arkansas.
A&M will have another opportunity to improve its résumé during a difficult road trip. The Aggies visit Georgia on Friday at 6 p.m. CT before facing No. 4 Kentucky on Sunday at noon.
