Steelers-Colts weather report shows ugly conditions for Jonathan Taylor, fantasy football stars
· Yahoo Sports
Fantasy football owners might want to check their lineups one more time before Sunday’s Pittsburgh Steelers and Indianapolis Colts showdown in Pennsylvania.
The Week 5 NFL weather report doesn’t look promising for several games in the Northeast, but Pittsburgh might be the worst of them all. Hurricane Isaias’ affects are still lingering on the East Coast, which presents a huge challenge for Jonathan Taylor and other top players involved.

The two AFC teams are hopeful that they can keep pace with the best teams in the conference, including the undefeated Kansas City Chiefs. However, Sunday’s matchup presents a big challenge in terms of how Pittsburgh and Indianapolis tackle the game.
Rainy and windy conditions are expected at Acrisure Stadium, and that doesn’t necessarily bode well for quarterbacks Aaron Rodgers and Daniel Jones.

Stadium: Acrisure Stadium
Current Forecast: 61 degrees, 94 percent chance of rain throughout with mild winds
Week 5 could see nasty conditions for the duration of the Steelers-Colts matchup. That’s a stark contrast from what Indianapolis experienced a week ago during their London trip that resulted in a 30-13 blowout win over the Washington Commanders.
The latest forecast for Sunday shows a wet contest in Pennsylvania, courtesy of MySportsWeather.com. Expect a lot of both teams running the ball, especially considering the Colts have a former All-Pro leading their rushing attack.

Which fantasy stars will be affected most?

Rodgers is known to still air the ball out regardless of weather conditions, but it’s unclear if he’ll be able to target the deep ball the way that he normally does.
That impacts deep threats like DK Metcalf and Roman Wilson. Pittsburgh could instead rely on shorter routes to tight ends Pat Freiermeuth and Darnell Washington.
Meanwhile, Jaylen Warren will see a healthy dose in the rushing game and likely some targets out of the backfield. This season, Warren’s been a menace on the ground with over 300 yards rushing and another 143 yards receiving.
The easiest play of the day for fantasy purposes is always Taylor, though. Indy’s star RB has recorded 353 yards on the ground this season and added six touchdowns.
The Steelers (2-2) host the Colts (2-2) at 1 p.m. ET Sunday on CBS.
