· Yahoo Sports

In its Wednesday roster moves, the Houston Texans (0-4) signed former Iowa quarterback Mark Gronowski to their 53-man active roster ahead of their Week 5 matchup at the Tennessee Titans (0-4).

Gronowski, who has had quite the whirlwind start to his NFL career, signed with the Texans' practice squad on Sept. 8 after being released from the Miami Dolphins' practice squad.

Gronowski joins starting quarterback C.J. Stroud and backup Davis Mills on the Texans' active roster. Stroud has completed 61.6% of his passes for 1,141 yards and five touchdowns with no picks, but the Texans are still searching for their first win on the season.

Houston will try to get that accomplished when they travel to Nissan Stadium in Nashville, Tenn., to take on the also winless Titans on Sunday at noon CT on CBS.
