Neyland Stadium will feature an interlocking UT logo instead of the standard "Power T" when the No. 17 Vols (3-1, 0-1 SEC) host Auburn (3-1, 1-1) on Oct. 3 (3:30 p.m. ET, ESPN). The back of the checkerboard end zones will also read "Carry The Fight," one of Neyland's famous mantras.

UT is calling the Auburn matchup its "Neyland Legacy" game as it celebrates the 100th anniversary of Neyland's first season as head coach at Tennessee. The Vols will be wearing alternate "Smokey Grey" uniforms designed by Adidas.
The grey uniforms feature the interlocking UT logo on the front collar and the "carry the fight" mantra on the back collar. The helmets resemble leather helmets worn during Neyland's coaching career, including by players on his national championship teams in 1938 and 1939.
Neyland is the winningest coach in UT football history with a 173-31-12 career record and four national titles between 1926-52. His coaching career was interrupted twice by military service in Panama and World War II.
His statue was moved back to the perimeter of the stadium this offseason after a temporary stay outside the Neyland-Thompson Sports Center. It is featured alongside statues of former UT coaches Doug Dickey and Phillip Fulmer in a new installment called Champions Corner.
