Of the four games on CBS at 1 p.m. ET, the Cardinals' game gets the least amount of geographical coverage.
Have a look at the TV coverage map for the four early games on CBS. The graphic is from 506 Sports.
The Cardinals-Giants game will air in the blue area. That means only the home markets for the Cardinals and Giants will get to see this game on CBS.
It is understandable. The Giants with Jameis Winston starting games at quarterback, and the 1-2 Cardinals with Jacoby Brissett starting, make for a very uninteresting matchup. Plus, with Bills-Patriots airing at the same time, that is a hugely interesting game for markets not actively rooting for the Cardinals or Giants.
That game will air in the pink areas. People living in the green areas can watch Jaguars-Bengals, while those living in the yellow areas can see Titans-Ravens.
