Brewers fans celebrate 103 win season with free burgers at Wisconsin restaurant

GREENVILLE, Wis. (WFRV) - Brewers fans rejoice! Another winning season in Milwaukee has brought the team into the postseason. This year is different, as the team set a record with 103 wins in a season.

And StoneYard in Greenville is helping celebrate the historic season by giving away free cheeseburgers.

We did like the brats and hot dogs for our 4th of July celebration," said Bella Dontje, a bartender at StoneYard, "But burgers are just like a baseball food that you can't go wrong. Everybody loves a good burger."
Fans in the Fox Valley are excited about the regular season and securing the number one seed, as the NL Playoffs will go through American Family Field.
"The sheer amount of things they had this season, over the, for a, an appearance in the, you know, the big game," said Mark Hellmann from Grand Chute.
Many gathered over burgers, beer, and a season that hopefully ends with a World Series title.
"I think it's fantastic. They do this for the Brewers and for the community and just for fans' support," said Dale and Sharon Rohloff from New London.
The restaurant ordered 800 burgers and buns for today, and brought in twice as much staff to cover Monday.
Many of the fans are talking stick and ball ahead of the postseason.
"Loving it, loving it, I'm loving this whole season. Jacob Miserowski is going to be the best player that ever happened," said Jerey Braun from Oshkosh, "And to watch the Brewers in general. What a fantastic, fantastic year so far. We've got to keep it going. We've got to keep it going."
Others are counting down the wins until 100 for a free burger.
"So I've been watching since the Brewers hit 90 to make sure I was waiting for them to hit 100, and I was just counting," said Maureen McCarthy from Oshkosh.
Now the focus turns to the Brewers and who they will play in the NLDS: the San Diego Padres or the Chicago Cubs.
One fan said Bring the Chicago Cubs.
"Bring the Cubs; we can beat their butts."
