Swansea star could return for Wrexham clash

Swansea City captain Ben Cabango is back in training ahead of Saturday night’s Championship clash with Wrexham, head coach Vitor Matos has confirmed.

Cabango will continue to be assessed ahead of the all-Welsh contest at the Swansea.com Stadium, with Matos reporting no fresh injury concerns within his squad.
“Ben is also in training, we will see how the session goes and we will make a decision from there,” Matos said.
Ross Stewart, Cameron Burgess and Gonçalo Franco remain sidelined, but there are otherwise no new fitness issues for Matos to contend with.
Attention will also turn to new signing Jeremy Monga, who could make his Swansea debut after joining the club from Manchester City on deadline day.
The 17-year-old moved to the Etihad Stadium from Leicester City earlier this summer and has already made 34 first-team appearances despite his age.
“As far as I know, Jeremy is up for selection,” Matos said.
“Of course, these things we need to check regarding his final clearance and those kinds of things, but as far as we know, he’s good.
“I think he’s a really talented kid who has a lot of potential. He’s really technical, strong in one-v-ones, and we needed that kind of player in the window.
“I’m really happy to have him here with us, and now it’s up to us to use him in the right moments.”
