NFL fans speculate Joe Burrow’s next team after he lays down Cincinnati Bengals frustrations

The Cincinnati Bengals came close to Super Bowl triumph back in 2022 when they narrowly lost to the Los Angeles Rams.

Since then, Joe Burrow has only made one visit to the postseason, with the last three years seeing the Bengals fail to finish higher than third in the AFC North.
The quick regression from the Bengals has now seen the 29-year-old make a clear statement over his intention to win now and not plan for the future in Cincinnati.
Burrow’s current contract runs through the 2029 season, but his demeanour has made it abundantly clear that he wants more from his career than what is currently being offered.
“I’m tired of saying next year, next year, next year. Life is too short to keep pushing things down the road, and I’m trying to instill some urgency and some intensity in everybody to go and be great every day and try to go make it happen,” the QB said on Thursday.
This has sparked a number of fans from across the NFL to speculate over Burrow’s future, with some even suggesting that he could be lining himself up for a trade next offseason.

It has undoubtedly been a disappointing past few years for Burrow, who has not played a playoff game since the 2022 season.
Despite the Bengals’ struggles, Burrow has maintained a top 50 spot in the NFL 100 list, which highlights the quality possessed by the QB.
With Burrow’s class clear to many across the league, a lot of fans have responded to his latest comments and suggested teams he could be traded to in the coming year.
‘Ngl all he gotta do is get traded to the Vikings or Lions n he’ll be on a team that could win it,’ said a Philadelphia Eagles fan.
One brave fan even said: ‘Poor guy knows he will never win anything in Cincinnati. He should demand a trade to Cleveland. Much better roster’.
The Bengals will be hoping for better this season despite losing star defender Trey Hendrickson to the Baltimore Ravens.
A Cowboys fan has even urged Jerry Jones to go all out for Burrow: ‘Jerry Jones should empty the clip one last chips down and bring this man to Dallas.’
With Baker Mayfield’s contract situation up in the air, one fan added: ‘Tampa may be in the market for a QB next year Joe. Big Tristan [Wirfs] will protect you’.
‘Joe Burrow will 100000% not finish his career in Cincy,’ said another.
Burrow’s comments should certainly have sent a message to the hierarchy in Cincinnati, with their blue chip quarterback clearly not impressed with the team’s performances over recent years.
Despite Sam Darnold’s recent success, one fan said: ‘I hope he goes to the Seahawks or something and wins three’.
A player of Burrow’s quality would have a lot of teams interested if he was to push for an exit over the coming months.
However, the Bengals would undoubtedly demand a huge trade if they were to even consider allowing him to leave.
