Skye Blakely headlines Gators on US gymnastics senior national team

Florida gymnastics had three athletes associated with the university named to the U.S. Senior National Team following the conclusion of the Xfinity U.S. Gymnastics Championships this weekend, headlined by rising junior Skye Blakely.

Blakely, who won silver in the uneven bars standings at the championships, is joined by signees Dulcy Caylor and Simone Rose. Caylor and Rose signed with Florida in November 2025; however, the former announced she will defer enrollment at UF to train for the 2028 U.S. Olympic Trials.
This is the seventh consecutive U.S. Senior National Team berth for Blakely, while Caylor earned her fifth straight and Rose her fourth straight spot.
In the final U.S. Championships all-around standings, Caylor finished sixth, Blakely was seventh and Rose took 10th. Recent high school graduate Hezly Rivera won the U.S. Championships all-around title for the second consecutive year.
U.S. Senior National Team members will work for a chance to claim a 2026 World Championships roster spot, which is set for Oct. 17-25 in Rotterdam, Netherlands. Last year, Blakely, Caylor and Leanne Wong comprised three quarters of the U.S. World Championships roster. Blakely and Wong won team gold at the 2022 and 2023 World Championships.
