United States President Donald Trump spends a lot of time on the golf course, but he is also a rather notorious cheater. This weekend, it seems like he was at it again.

Over the weekend, Trump claimed the club championship at his Bedminster Club in both the Senior and Super Senior divisions with a score of 70. However, given his lengthy history of apparent cheating, people were skeptical of the accomplishment.

Trump ‘Wins’ Championship

On Sunday, a video surfaced showing Trump allegedly winning his 43rd club championship at one of his golf clubs.

“Please join me in congratulating the President of the United States for winning the Super Senior and Senior division with a great score of 70,” a commentator said at the event.

The person recording the video could be heard praising Trump for the unbelievable accomplishment.

“President of the United States,” the person said. “Super Senior and the Senior – he won both. He won both. That’s amazing. Best president of our lifetime. He won.”

Trump’s History of Cheating

Several years ago, Trump raised quite a few eyebrows when he shockingly declared himself the winner of the seniors’ golf championship at his property in West Palm Beach, Florida, even though he missed half the tournament to attend a funeral over 600 miles away.

As it turns out, this was nowhere near the first time he’d dubiously won on the golf course.

Golf author Rick Reilly wrote the New York Times bestseller Commander in Cheat, which details Trump’s history of cheating on the golf course. He has recounted several times that Trump has claimed victory in a golf event without actually having the best score.

Reilly reports that Trump has won championships by being the only entrant, calling in a low score from out of town, and putting his name on the wall anyway.

‘What a baby’

Needless to say, Trump’s latest dubious claim quickly sparked outrage and disbelief.

“So weird that he only wins at his own courses,” Meidas Touch wrote in a post on X.

“It’s nice they keep pretending to let him win so he feels like a big boy,” activist Jamie Bonkiewicz wrote in a post on X.

“What a baby,” wrote former GOP Congressman Adam Kinzinger in a post.

“This is such a metaphor for awful: not only Trump blatantly cheating at golf, but even worse, all the people who enable it, who watch it, and say absolutely nothing. Every one of them is evil. Do they teach their children to cheat and lie? I guess so, by their actions. Unreal,” wrote prominent commentator John Jackson in a post.

“Reminder, the only time Trump played a golf tournament where he couldn’t cheat, the American Century celebrity tournament in 2006, he shot 52 over par in 3 rounds and finished in 62nd place out of 80 celebrities,” someone else added.

“Congratulations to all the MAGA supporters. Another day of Trump humiliating himself and you by extension,” someone else wrote.

Trump spends a lot of time on the golf course, but these claims still feel a bit hard to believe.
