Captain Breen leaps to long jump gold in Glasgow

Olivia Breen leapt to Commonwealth Games gold in Glasgow by winning the T38 long jump final at the Scotstoun Stadium.
The Team Wales captain secured her country's sixth gold with a jump of 5.09m in the first round.

That distance was further than her own Games record from 2018 but the wind speed (+3.9) was too high to count.
Just minutes later she did set a new record with a second round jump of 5.03m that was deemed wind-legal, although it was short-lived.
Australia's Layla Sharp claimed silver just three centimetres behind Breen's best with 5.06m. Another Aussie, 15-year-old Ayla Kowalczyk, won bronze.
Breen said she was "over the moon" to win.
"It was a great competition and the Scottish crowd were amazing."
"I think I'm going to get very emotional on the podium.
"I just love competing for Wales, nothing ever beats it."
Breen admits she was a little anxious as Layla Sharp jumped 5.02m in the second round.
"I'm just so happy that I got it in the first round.
"When the Australian girl got 5.02, I thought anything can happen.
"I just thought keep yourself composed and keep focused.
"I kept going to my coach, and asking him for advice, and he kept saying, 'Livvy you're in great shape, just trust yourself, and trust the process.'
"Having the right people around you means a lot and when you're happy you get what you get."
Breen was defending the title she won at Gold Coast in 2018 after the event was not included at Birmingham 2022.
It was the 30-year-old's second medal of the Games, having won silver in the T38 100m final on Monday night.
Breen's gold was the third of the day for Wales, with Anna Morris and Emma Finucane securing individual pursuit and individual sprint titles at the Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome earlier in the evening.
Breen has competed for Wales at four Commonwealth Games and won five medals - three gold, one silver and a bronze.
She finished in seventh in Glasgow in the same event in 2014 when he celebrated her 18th birthday.
Her 30th birthday celebrations will be all the sweeter after a gold and a silver and finally "a slice of caterpillar cake".

Breen makes Team Wales history for now
Breen's medal haul has ensured she has become the most successful Wales woman in the Commonwealth Games.
Athlete Kirsty Wade won three gold medals in 1982 and 1986, while rhythmic gymnast Frankie Jones claimed seven medals in 2010 and 2014, although only one of those was gold.
Breen's achievement might be shortlived. It came on a day when Finucane became the first Welsh woman to win two golds at the same Games for the first time since Wade in Edinburgh 40 years ago.
Finucane has added two gold to two bronze medals claimed in Birmingham in 2022.
Based on her displays so far in the Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome, Finucane could overtake Breen in this Games with a four-gold haul if she succeeds in winning her two remaining events.
The most successful male competitor is weightlifter David Morgan with 12 medals, including nine gold.
