With the Oklahoma City Thunder trio of Bennett Stirtz, Peyton Sanford, and Josh Dix eliminated from championship contention during 2026 NBA Summer League play on Thursday night, former Iowa basketball standout Brendan Hausen is the lone remaining Hawkeye with title aspirations as his Memphis Grizzlies take on the Houston Rockets in the semifinals tonight from Las Vegas.
Although Hausen only played 2 minutes in the team's 96-64 win over the Atlanta Hawks, the 6-foot-4 guard still poses as a potential offensive weapon for the Grizzlies, especially after posting 20 points on Tuesday night.

If Hausen and the Grizzlies get past the Rockets, they will play in the NBA Summer League Championship on Sunday, July 19, against either the Golden State Warriors or the Los Angeles Lakers.
