Butler basketball will play first-year coach’s team in Indy Classic

Butler basketball will play Georgia Tech for the first time in the Indy Classic at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis on Dec. 19. Indiana Sports Corp announced the game Thursday.

Both teams will be working through a lot of change. The Bulldogs have a new coach in Ronald Nored and a mostly overhauled roster. The Yellow Jackets have a similar situation with new coach Scott Cross, who previously led the Texas-Arlington and Troy programs.
In the other game, Purdue meets Colorado.
