Logan Shaw has put together a long, journeying hockey career.
It's taken him from Nova Scotia to the Florida Panthers, Anaheim Ducks, Montreal Canadiens, Winnipeg Jets, Ottawa Senators and now the Toronto Maple Leafs' organization.
The 6-foot-3 winger has never actually suited up for the Leafs, though.
Instead, he's the captain for the Toronto Marlies, and he proved his leadership and prowess on Sunday night.
With the Marlies playing in the AHL's Calder Cup, and in overtime, Shaw called game:

The 33-year old Shaw is a cool example of a different type of career.
Maybe he's never become an NHL star, but down in the AHL, he has proven himself as reliable in every way.
The Marlies have learned this, and now they're halfway to winning the Calder Cup because of Shaw.
That's a special moment he won't soon forget, no matter what level of hockey it came at.
