The Arizona Cardinals Football Club today announced that the team has signed safety Isaiah Oliver and has released kicker Joshua Karty. The signing took place today at the Dignity Health Arizona Cardinals Training Center in Tempe, AZ.

Oliver (6-0, 202) is a Phoenix, AZ native who went to high school at Brophy College Preparatory prior to playing collegiately at Colorado. He is an eight-year veteran who has appeared in 110 games (53 starts) with the Jets (2024-25), 49ers (2023) and Falcons (2018-22) in his career. The 29-year old Oliver has 382 tackles (272 solo), three interceptions, 3.0 sacks, 42 passes defensed, 11 tackles for loss, three forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries on defense while also collecting 25 tackles on special teams. Oliver has experience at both safety and cornerback in his NFL career.

He entered the league with the Falcons as a second-round selection (58th overall) in the 2018 NFL Draft. Oliver played 14 games (two starts) last season with the Jets after playing all 34 games (13 starts) between 2023-24. He has also appeared in three postseason games, including Super Bowl LVIII with the 49ers.

Oliver will wear jersey #34.
