More than three months after the mother of Today show host Savannah Guthrie was allegedly abducted from her Arizona home, police are no closer to solving the case.

Nancy Guthrie, 84, was reported missing from her Catalina Foothills home near Tucson on Feb. 1.

The night before, daughter Annie Guthrie had dropped her off just before 10 p.m. following a dinner.

Investigators believe one individual is responsible for her abduction after video footage from her home’s security camera showed a masked, armed suspect at her front door the night of her disappearance.

Case is still active

Police say the investigation is still active.

“Anyone with information related to the Nancy Guthrie case is encouraged to come forward,” a spokesperson for the Pima County Sheriff’s Department told Fox News Digital last week .

In the days and weeks since their mother went missing, the Today show host, along with her brother and sister, have pleaded for information leading to her whereabouts and safe return.

“Every hour and minute and second, and every long night, has been agony,” Guthrie said in a social media update Feb. 24 , more than three weeks after her mother’s disappearance.

“Of worrying about her, fearing for her, and aching for her. And most of all just missing her.”

Suspect still unknown

Police have yet to identify the armed suspect, who was wearing long sleeves, gloves and carrying an Ozark Trail hiking backpack.

Blood samples taken from the home were sent to the FBI for tests suggest only one person was involved in her abduction.

There is a combined reward of more than $1.2 million for information about the missing mother.

“The Pima County Sheriff’s Department continues to work closely with the FBI as investigators follow up on leads, review information, and pursue the facts surrounding this case,” the spokesperson said.

Guthrie returned to broadcast duties

Last month, Guthrie returned to her NBC show after stepping away for two months.

She made no mention of her missing mother and jumped into the morning’s headlines.

“Good morning and welcome to Today on this Monday morning,” she said . “We are so glad you started your week with us and it is good to be home.”

Video shows masked person stealing plants

Meanwhile, new video footage taken from a home in Guthrie’s neighbourhood shows a masked person wearing a baseball hat and gloves taking potted plants from a driveway last week.

NBC affiliate KVOA reports the video, which shows a grey Ford F-150 pulling into a driveway. The masked individual gets out of the truck, walks toward the home, and begins loading potted cacti into the vehicle.

The video began circulating among residents of Guthrie’s neighbourhood, but police say they are unsure if the person has any connected to her abduction.

“We have not been advised of anything like this,” Pima County Sheriff’s Department said in an email to the station. “We will do some research and keep you posted.”
