Flick spoke about his team’s performance after the game and said he was happy but wanted more improvements.
“There are many things going well, but there are situations on the pitch that aren’t fantastic. It’s five goals and three points. But at the beginning, we didn’t play with the conviction I want to see. We have many games left, but we need to play faster. We need to focus; Newcastle is a very good team,” he told reporters.
“As I’ve already said, there are many things I liked, but we can improve. But I’m happy. It’s a very important week, and on Wednesday we have a big game, and we have to give our best. Right now everyone is happy, but we need to improve in some areas.”
