EA Sports College Football 26 ratings for every Colorado transfer add

· Yahoo Sports

In the transfer portal era of college football, it's become more difficult than ever to follow your favorite teams, especially when they've had as much turnover as the Colorado Buffaloes in the past two seasons.

With over 40 new transfers making their way to Boulder before next season, recognizable names will be hard to come by before the season opener. Luckily, we also live in a time when EA Sports has resurrected the college football video game franchise, allowing fans to build their own stories around these real players. Now that the Buffs' roster is ready to go, let's take a look at what the developers rated every incoming FBS transfer in EA Sports College Football 26.

Visit asg-reflektory.pl for more information.

This year's game features only FBS teams, meaning any FCS or JUCO transfer won't make the list. Players also have to opt in to the game, so some might not appear if they did not.

WR Danny Scudero

Overall: 88

A one-time Sacramento State legend emerged onto the national stage last season as a San Jose State Spartan. The Blinetkoff award nominee pulled in 88 catches for 1,297 yards and 10 touchdowns in his one season in blue and gold. Scudero's banner year leaves him in a four-way tie for the highest-rated transfer for the Buffs this offseason.

LB Gideon Lampron

Overall: 88

While most might know Lampron for his viral middle name, ESPN, he was more than just a social media post for the Bowling Green Falcons last season. The Lagrange native totaled 119 total tackles, 2.5 sacks and two forced fumbles in his first season with the Falcons. He comes to Boulder to help rebuild the Buffs' linebacking core alongside another highly rated transfer.

SS Randon Fontenette

Overall: 88

The first of two Power 4 safeties on this list, Fontenette is fresh off two career years as a Commadore in which he racked up over 120 total tackles and defended 13 passes. With 3.5 sacks in 2024, he looks to replace the Buffs' do-it-all safety Tawfiq Byard.

S Boo Carter

Overall: 88

The second half of the aforementioned safety duo, Carter, enters as one of the most hyped transfers to Boulder of the class. It's not hard to see why, as it seemed Carter was on his way to taking a massive year two leap as a Volunteer, racking up 25 tackles and three forced fumbles in just eight games.

WR DeAndre Moore Jr.

Overall: 87

After losing Omarion Miller in the portal, Deion Sanders and his team needed to find a playmaker for Julian Lewis. Moore Jr. seems to be just that, a do-it-all wide receiver who racked up over 1,000 yards in his two seasons with Texas. Paired with Scudero and the other talented receivers on the list, it's safe to say Colorado should have plenty of weapons for Lewis to attack with.

WR Kam Perry

Overall: 86

While Perry didn't have the numbers of Scudero, he is coming off an equally fantastic season for the Redhawks. His highlight-filled year added up to nearly 1,000 yards receiving on just 43 catches and six touchdowns. The 5-foot-9 wideout did it all in a breakout year and will look to improve on it as a Buffalo.

LB Tyler Martinez

Overall: 85

Martinez enters with the honor of being the highest-rated player on his former team, the New Mexico State Aggies. Like Lampron, Martinez proved to be a tackling machine at his former home, wrapping up over 115 tackles over his three-year stint in New Mexico.

LB Liona Lefau

Overall: 85

If you thought the Buffs had tackling issues at linebacker last season, you'd be relieved to hear that Sanders and Co. thought the same thing. Lefau is another solid tackler who proved productive in his time with Texas, racking up over 60 total tackles a year and at least one sack.

DT Santana Hopper

Overall: 83

Hopper was one of Tulane's highest-rated players on the defensive front and will aim to provide a much-needed presence up front next season. The veteran defender has at least 29 tackles in his three years as a starter, bringing him to a total of 14 sacks in that timeframe.

DT Ezra Christensen

Overall: 82

The second Aggie to join the Buffs this offseason, Christensen was one of the more productive pass rushers in Conference USA. Last season served as a breakout for him, recording 6 sacks and 42 total tackles alongside one forced fumble.

OT Bo Hughley

Overall: 81

Hughley was a starter for the Georgia offensive line in 2024 and appeared in several games for them in 2025. The 6-foot-7 lineman comes to the Buffs to help them get their front unit back on track after losing Jordan Seaton.

CB Justin Eaglin

Overall: 80

Fresh off an appearance in the College Football Playoff, Eaglin heads to the Buffs to lead their secondary. Eaglin notched five interceptions, a career high, and 35 total tackles during James Madison's playoff run. Colorado will need his presence to bolster a secondary that struggled mightily a season ago.

S Naeten Mitchell

Overall: 79

The third Aggie to make his way to Boulder comes fresh off a monster season. Over 90 tackles, four forced fumbles, and three interceptions, there wasn't a play that Micthell didn't make for New Mexico last season.

CB Emory Floyd

Overall: 78

Floyd was a productive corner in his first season with Appalachian State, totaling 57 tackles and five passes defended in his junior season. The Marietta, Georgia, native should provide a steady hand for an up-and-coming cornerback room.

RB Richard Young

Overall: 77

Young has seen limited playing time in his three seasons as a part of the Crimson Tide, primarily as a goal-line back. The 5-foot-11, 212-pound running back does carry a lot of power, something Colorado lacked a year ago, but that doesn't mean he can't move, as evidenced by his high school four-star ranking.

DT Samu Tamumanupepe

Overall: 76

While he hasn't seen much action at the college level, Taumanupepe is hard to forget after seeing his measureables. The Humble, Texas native is anything but, standing at 6-foot-3 and 376 pounds, surely a force to be reckoned with in the middle of a defensive line, if he can stay healthy.

S Jaydan Hardy

Overall: 76

Hardy is another Texas native who hasn't seen much playing time at the college level, but has shown flashes of his potential when he has played. In his two years with the Sooners, Hardy has 17 tackles and two interceptions, including a four-tackle game against Alabama last year.

OT Taj White

Overall: 75

White started nearly every game for the Scarlet Knights at right tackle, providing stability through the season. An All-Big 10 Academic honoree, White will provide veteran leadership for an all-new combination up front.

IOL Demetrius Hunter

Overall: 75

The former four-star prospect was a 12-game starter at center for the Cougars in 2024 and added on another nine last season. If his handle on X, PancakeHunter58, is anything to go by, the Buffs may have found an answer to part of their line issues.

OT Leon Bell

Overall: 75

Another offensive lineman to the Buffs with starting experience, Bell led the Golden Bears at right guard for eight games last season. The Mississippi State transfer has plenty of experience starting in the Power 4 and should help provide stable depth for the Buffs.

CB Cree Thomas

Overall: 74

The true freshman only appeared in one game for Notre Dame last season, making one tackle and knocking down a pass. The former three-star is a young, talented piece for Colorado to add to its backend.

QB Isaac Wilson

Overall: 73

Lewis' backup-to-be, Wilson, had starting experience with the Utah Utes in 2024 but took a back seat in 2025. In his time starting, the younger brother of former BYU standout Zach Wilson, totaled 1,510 passing yards, 10 touchdowns and 11 interceptions.

DT Dylan Manuel

Overall: 72

The second Mountaineer to join the Buffs was productive in his first season starting for App State. Manuel notched three sacks, 37 tackles and even an interception against James Madison in 2025.

EDGE Vili Taufatofua

Overall: 71

Another Spartan joins the ranks after an underrated season in San Jose, where he totaled three sacks, 34 tackles and two forced fumbles. The former JUCO and Utah player comes to Colorado as excellent depth up front.

EDGE Sedrick Smith

Overall: 70

The former Alabama A&M standout was not nearly as productive in his first season at the Power 4 level, only recording seven tackles. At 6-foot-4 and 321 pounds, Smith has all the size to play at the highest level, which the Buffs will need.

CB Jason Stokes Jr.

Overall: 68

The true freshman only appeared in four games for the Utes' first season, but showed flashes of starting talent en route to totaling three tackles and one pass defended.

S Jah Jah Boyd

Overall: 68

Another true freshman, Boyd got more experience because of Indiana's deep playoff run. The highlight of his freshman year came against Maryland, where he notched three tackles and forced his first collegiate fumble.

OT Jayven Richardson

Overall: 68

In his redshirt junior year, Richardson served as the sixth-man swing offensive lineman for the Tigers. He struggled early, but shined against South Carolina, playing 79 snaps and not allowing a sack.

EDGE Immanuel Ezeogu

Overall: 66

In his redshirt freshman season, Ezeogu tallied 15 tackles, one sack, and forced a fumble last year for the James Madison Dukes.

DL Tyler Moore

Overall: 64

Out of Coastal Carolina, Moore is the lowest-rated transfer to join Colorado this offseason. The 6-foot-2 Moore totaled nine tackles for the Chanticleers last year.
