Yes, the Associated Press Poll doesn’t matter at this point in the season. Regardless, the Gonzaga Bulldogs (27-2, 15-1 WCC) have entered the Top 10 once again and moved two spots up to No. 9. The Zags received 1,039 total points.

Saturday, Jan. 28, is the 2025-26 regular season finale and a Quad 1 opportunity against rival Saint Mary Gaels (25-4, 14-2 WCC) inside the University Credit Union Pavilion in Moraga, California. The Gaels have jumped up to receiving 30 total votes, making coach Randy Bennett’s group ranked as the No. 27 program in college basketball.

The Santa Clara Broncos (23-6, 14-2) didn’t receive any votes, despite the West Coast Conference being pinned as a three-big league.

Per the NCAA Tournament selection committee’s Top 16 seed reveal, Gonzaga would be the No. 3 seed in the West region if March Madness were to start today.

In the NET rankings, the Zags are No. 5 with a 6-1 record in Quad 1 and a 5-0 record in Quad 2. Their KPI (Key Performance Indicator) is No. 18, and BPI (Basketball Power Index) is No. 8.

As for KenPom, the Bulldogs stayed at No. 10 with the No. 22-ranked offense and No. 11-ranked defense. EvanMiya has also kept the Zags at No. 10.

Before the important Saint Mary’s matchup on the road this weekend, Gonzaga is seeking revenge over the Portland Pilots (12-17, 5-11 WCC) on Senior Night on Wednesday, Feb. 25, in the Kennel on Spokane, Washington. Tip is set for 6:00 p.m. PT on ESPN+/KHQ.
