The Warriors have now won six games in a row after dropping their first three of the season.
It was also a special night at Chase Center as Curry's former "Splash Brother," Klay Thompson, was in the building.
Before Curry got the win on the court, he had already beaten his former teammate off the court and was ready to collect after his alma mater, Davidson, beat Thompson's, Washington State,, on Monday night.
"We got the dub," a smiling Curry said afterward, "so there was healthy monetary value to that."

Thompson, a day after hitting a game-winning 3-pointer to finish with 30 points during a Heat overtime win over the Los Angeles Clippers, cooled off on Thursday night. He finished with 11 points after going 3-for-10 from the field and 2-for-7 from 3-point range.
The two were involved in several plays together that were surely discussed afterward between the friends. First, Thompson got a block on Curry's opening quarter layup attempt.

"It's still surreal playing against him, it's always going to be that way because we've gone through so many battles together," Curry said.
It's been over two years since Thompson left Golden State and joined the Dallas Mavericks, ending the "Splash Brothers" partnership. With Thompson 36 years old and Curry 38, both know that time is running out and they appreciate these opportunities as they come.
"It was fun. It was really fun. He's still super crafty still to this day," Thompson said. "It felt good to block his shot, he had an incredible night. What Steph is doing, I got to see it every night and it became normal, but to see it as an opponent it was incredible, especially that he's nearing 40 and he moves like a young athlete. It's all the respect in the world for him. He deserves all the accolades and adulation and money. He's just 1 of 1 and the game is going to miss him when he does hang it up."
"It's definitely surreal, but it's also a blessing we're still playing," Curry told NBA TV. "Every time we play against him it's one closer to the end. Just trying to appreciate it."
