The Baltimore Ravens have been without quarterback Lamar Jackson for a few weeks now. While Tyler Huntley got a win in his first start against the Atlanta Falcons, things haven't gone well in the last two weeks.

Now, with the Ravens set to face Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills in Week 8, they could really use Jackson back on the field. Fortunately, the signs so far have pointed towards Jackson playing, but there's not been confirmation that he's good to go.

That is, until now. Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic reported Friday afternoon that head coach Jesse Minter told reporters that Jackson, after missing a few weeks, is going to play in Week 8 against the Bills for the Ravens.

"Minter said that QB Lamar Jackson will play Sunday," Zrebiec shared on Friday afternoon before Week 8.

After missing three games and dropping to a 4-3 record, the Ravens are finally getting Jackson back after an ankle injury in their Week 4 win over the Tennessee Titans.

Huntley went 1-2 in his absence, nearly going 2-1, if not for a late collapse against the Cleveland Browns in Week 6.

But now, ahead of the most challenging matchup since Jackson got hurt against the Bills, Baltimore is getting its franchise quarterback back.

Jackson is good to go for Week 8, and he'll look to pick up where he left off earlier this season when he had 967 passing yards, six touchdowns, and just one interception through four games.

He should help a struggling Derrick Henry get back on track, and with Zay Flowers and Ja'Kobi Lane good to go, the Ravens could have a massive offensive performance against a leaky Bills defense in Week 8.

In a tightly contested AFC North, the Ravens need all of the help they can get. A win over the Bills, a team sitting atop the AFC East at 5-1, would be a great way for Jackson to make his return felt.

It's good timing for the Ravens, getting Jackson back now. While this matchup won't be easy, it's a lot more of a possible victory now that Jackson is good to go.
