Will Racin Delgatty return for Alabama vs LSU football? What Kalen DeBoer said
· Yahoo Sports
Racin Delgatty has been a vital cog in Alabama football's offensive line, one who is working to get back from injury.
Alabama coach Kalen DeBoer said Delgatty's status for LSU after missing both the Tennessee and Texas A&M games with a lower-extremity injury will become clearer once the Crimson Tide hits the practice field Sunday.

"You know, there's going to be some things he's going to work through this week (where) we get to Sunday and, I mean, we're hopeful, but, you know, he's going to get out there and play real football," DeBoer told The Tuscaloosa News.
Delgatty came to Alabama as a veteran, an offensive lineman with starter's reps at Cal Poly. And that experience has turned into production.
A Rimington Trophy Midseason Watch List member, Delgatty is credited for allowing nine pressures and one sack across 389 snaps, per Pro Football Focus.
What separates Delgatty to DeBoer is the "expectations he has for himself and how it has spread to the rest of the offensive line," many of which are newcomers like Delgatty, who has set the tone while "making sure the entire offensive line is working together and (getting) the calls correct."
In the past two games, Mal Waldrep Jr., who has worked in Delgatty's absence at center has allowed three pressures across 121 snaps with one penalty.
"(Delgatty's) presence is certainly felt when he's not out there," DeBoer said. "It's not because Mal can't do it or isn't doing a good job. It's just that's an added dimension and there's a lot more familiarity.
