Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s convoy was involved in a minor accident on the Purvanchal Expressway in Uttar Pradesh on Monday after five vehicles travelling behind his car collided with an ambulance. Gandhi was unhurt.

Gandhi was travelling from Lucknow to Sultanpur to appear before a special MP-MLA court in connection with a 2018 defamation case over his remarks about Union Home Minister Amit Shah.
