Rail Jan Samvaad organised at Mandya Railway Station

South Western Railway conducted a Rail Jan Samvaad programme at Mandya railway station on 22.10.2026 as part of the nationwide initiative under Special Campaign 6.0. The programme provided passengers and other stakeholders an opportunity to share suggestions, raise concerns and submit representations.
The interaction was led by Sudhir Kumar Sharma, Principal Chief Materials Manager (PCMM), South Western Railway, accompanied by Aman Bhave, Senior Divisional Materials Manager, Bengaluru Division, and the Assistant Divisional Materials Manager, Bengaluru Division.

Passengers appreciated Railways’ efforts in organising such an outreach programme, which enabled direct interaction with senior officials. They also acknowledged improved cleanliness and positive changes at the station.
Passengers and other stakeholders submitted feedback forms recording their suggestions and concerns. Written representations were also received during the programme.
The Rail Jan Samvaad initiative aimed to strengthen direct communication between Railways and the public, with passenger feedback helping identify priorities for improved amenities and service delivery.
