Cardinals expected to be without RB Jeremiyah Love vs. Broncos
· Yahoo Sports
The Denver Broncos may have dodged yet another bullet when it comes to just missing star players from their opponents.
The Arizona Cardinals will likely be without the third overall pick in the 2026 NFL draft, running back Jeremiyah Love (ankle) in Week 7. The Broncos narrowly avoided facing Los Angeles Rams superstar wide receiver Puka Nacua, Los Angeles Chargers wideout Ladd McConkey and Seattle Seahawks running back Zach Charbonnet in recent weeks because of injuries. Love might now join that list.

Love has been compared to Broncos running back Jonah Coleman, specifically how both teams have approached their usage early in the year. Love has dealt with an ankle issue since the preseason, while Coleman has been on injured reserve the past four weeks, also nursing an ankle injury.
The current expectation is that the #Cardinals will be without standout rookie running back Jeremiyah Love this week against the #Broncos, sources tell @CBSSports.

Love is the latest name to be out of a game for Arizona, who recently traded wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. to the Houston Texans. The Cardinals still have several playmakers, including Colorado ex-pat tight end Trey McBride and quarterback Jacoby Brissett.
Though Love may miss this game, the Broncos cannot overlook Arizona. The Los Angeles Rams made that mistake and lost to the Cards in Week 6. Denver should not make that same mistake.
