The Brewers 'Timeless Ticket' issue with the World Series, explained
· Yahoo Sports
A quirky ticketing story has emerged from the awesomeness of the Milwaukee Brewers making it to the 2026 World Series against the Tampa Bay Rays: Back in 2015, the Brewers sold what was called a "Timeless Ticket" for $1,000.
That purchase got fans who bought it quite the perk: A ticket to any game, and that included postseason contests and the World Series. And in the fine print given to Timeless Ticket holders, it said that the Brewers would offer the "best available seat locations subject to ticket availability."

But some fans complained that they were offered standing room tickets, which doesn't seem like the best available seats.
Two Kenosha brothers who paid $1,000 each for a Milwaukee Brewers "Timeless Ticket" more than a decade ago say the team isn't fully honoring the promise that came with it — the chance to sit in the best available seats for a game as big as the World Series.

More than a decade ago, lifelong Milwaukee Brewers fan Dustin Buck bought two "Timeless Tickets," hoping he'd one day get to watch his team compete in the World Series. Now, with the Brewers making their first appearance since 1982, he's finally getting that chance.

Brewers fans were not happy about the Timeless Ticket issues
Danny Fochesato of Milwaukee bought a Timeless Ticket on his 27th birthday, planning all along to redeem it whenever the Brewers reached the World Series.
“Back in 2015, that was a big selling point from the sales people about this,” Fochesato said. “They really touted, ‘Hey, this is going to be the best available seats. You’re getting the priority just behind season ticket holders. Anything the season ticket holders don’t have, you’ll have dibs at it for the World Series.’ That’s kind of the story they sold.” ...
“We had a form, and it only had 400-level or standing-room options,” Fochesato said. “We couldn’t even know what game we had. We just had to put a preference of which ones we wanted, and then we had to submit the form and just sit and wait for them what we got. I immediately was like, ‘No, that’s bogus.’”
The Brewers responded to Timeless Ticket fan complaints
New: The Brewers say they “erred” on the logistics of fulfilling Timeless Ticket requests for World Series games, limiting fans to the 400 level and standing room tickets.

Here's what Brewers president of business operations Rick Schlesinger said:
"While we were able to accommodate all with seats, we received feedback from some that they were unhappy with their seat locations. Clearly, even with extraordinary limitations on available seats, we did not live up to the spirit of the program, and we have been working through a resolution."

Per a letter shared on social media by reporters, the decision was made to have those fans keep their World Series tickets that they got, but that they wouldn't count against the Timeless Ticket redemption.
