Why It Matters: Put bluntly, Darnold has not been good enough this season. That applies to both an NFL and a fantasy perspective. Seattle has gone 1-3 since Darnold returned from injury with the USC product tossing seven interceptions. In the last three weeks, he's thrown three touchdowns and five picks. We'll see what the team can do to get back on track during the mini bye before a Week 7 clash with the undefeated Chiefs. Darnold entered 2026 as a fringe QB2, and his stock hasn't improved. If a better reserve option is out there, it's justifiable to consider picking them up and banishing Darnold to the waiver wire.
