The OHSAA volleyball tournament is approaching.
Let's start with some initial thoughts on the brackets:

- Aurora, the area's lone district champion a year ago, could face Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy in a district title game. If so, it could be a classic. After all, the Royals topped the Greenmen in five thrilling sets in the regular season.
- One all-local match is guaranteed with Windham traveling to face top-seeded Mogadore in a sectional final. Another would occur if Garfield can top Girard in the first round. That would propel the G-Men into a home sectional final against Crestwood. That would be particularly compelling given the teams just played a day prior to the brackets coming out with Garfield winning in straight sets.
