Aaron Rodgers Reaches Major Steelers Milestone vs. Colts
· Yahoo Sports
Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Aaron Rodgers has reached another significant milestone. With throwing three touchdown passes against the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday, Rodgers joins Hall of Famer Terry Bradshaw as the only quarterbacks in Steelers history to throw three or more touchdown passes in three straight games.
Rodgers hasn’t thrown three or more touchdown passes in three straight games since his MVP season of 2021.

Bradshaw accomplished the feat in 1982, which was a strike year, so it wasn’t three consecutive weeks. Bradshaw started the season with three touchdown passes in each of the Steelers’ first two games, wins over the Dallas Cowboys and Cincinnati Bengals. The Steelers didn’t play their next game until Nov. 21 because of the strike. Bradshaw threw three touchdowns in the first game back, defeating the Houston Oilers.
Rodgers is on track to leap over Peyton Manning on the NFL all-time (regular season) touchdown passing list this season. Rodgers, who has thrown 531 touchdown passes, needs just three TD passes to move ahead of Manning for third all-time.
Rodgers is on the cusp of reaching several major NFL milestones this season.
With a win over the Colts, he’ll surpass Ben Roethlisberger with 166 career wins.
Rodgers and Roethlisberger are fifth on the all-time win list.
The only quarterbacks with more wins are Tom Brady (251), Brett Favre (186), Peyton Manning (186) and Drew Brees (171).
Rodgers surpassed Roethlisberger (64,088) on the career passing yards list last season. He now sits fifth all time, while Roethlisberger has dropped to seventh.
Rodgers came into Sunday’s game needing 2,727 passing yards to reach the 70,000-yard milestone this season. He would become the fifth QB in NFL history to accomplish that feat.
The odds at DraftKings have Rodgers at +200 to throw for at least 3,726 yards and finish with at least 70,000.
