San Francisco welcomes Arizona with Kittle second among tight ends in PFN’s Week 3 rankings, even though his snap percentage has hovered around 50% in both games. He ran 14 routes against the Dolphins and cashed in when a horrible defense left a star wide open in the end zone, and this Cardinals defense does not profile much differently. That is not the most sustainable way to make a fantasy living, but it is one week closer to full health, and he is in my lineup.

Should You Start or Sit George Kittle in Week 3?
The snap percentage of Kittle has hovered around 50% in both games this season, and we need to see that rise. It will with time, and in the short term, we love getting these juicy matchups where volume of routes is not a prerequisite to viable production.
Kittle ran 14 routes over the weekend against the Dolphins and benefited from a horrible defense leaving a star player wide open in the end zone.

That’s not the most sustainable way to make a fantasy living, but it’s one week closer to a fully healthy version of the former All-Pro, and this Cardinals defense doesn’t profile as much different.
He scored twice in Week 11 against Arizona last season (6-67-2 with touchdowns of 4 and 30 yards), and while success like that is a long shot this week, it only feels like a matter of time until we are considering him one of the five best options at the position.
