MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — Congratulations to Theodore Bobcats junior wide receiver Demarcus 'Duke' Beckham for winning Zaxby’s Player of the Week for Week 5 of the 2026 high school season.
Beckham wasted no time making an impact, hauling in three touchdown catches in the first quarter in Friday’s game against the Elberta Warriors.

“He's a dynamic slot receiver,” Theodore head coach Randy Larson, “The ball gets in his hands. He makes plays. We asked him to do a lot of things offensively, defensively, and on kick returns, so he's a dynamic player. We're really glad to have him.”
Beckham and the Bobcats (3-2) are off on bye week this Friday night before they go on the road to take on the Blount Leopards.
