Patrick Mahomes joined Tom Brady in NFL history after putting together a strong performance in the Kansas City Chiefs’ 33-30 overtime win over the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday night.

Mahomes has been playing in the league since 2017, starting his 10th year with the Chiefs. He is coming off a successful rehab from a torn ACL last season, making his grand return in the opening victory against the Denver Broncos.
The star quarterback kept that momentum going against Indianapolis. Mahomes passed the ball on a high volume, showing off great efficiency. He completed 32 out of 47 passes for 382 yards and three touchdowns while rushing twice for 17 yards.

Kansas City ended up winning the game, gifting Mahomes his 97th win as a starter. This allowed him to tie Brady for the third-most wins within 10 seasons, per NFL+.

Kenneth Walker III continues his remarkable start to his Kansas City stint. Having dominated the Denver Broncos in Week 1, the star rusher kept that going against the Colts. He racked up 24 carries for 117 yards while catching six passes for 61 yards.
Travis Kelce was the star of the receiving game, making nine receptions for 101 yards and a touchdown. Tyquan Thornton and Rashee Rice combined for eight catches and 169 yards, while Xavier Worthy and Jalen Royals caught touchdown passes.
The Chiefs will look forward to their next matchup, being on the road. They take on the Miami Dolphins in Week 3 as kickoff commences on Sept. 27 at 1 p.m. ET.
