Twitter reacts to Broncos’ comeback win over Jaguars
· Yahoo Sports
The Denver Broncos gave it their best effort in the second half of their Week 2 matchup against the Jacksonville Jaguars, coming from a 13-3 halftime deficit to put up 17 unanswered points and beat the visitors 20-13 on Sunday.
The Broncos won their home opener against the Jaguars, who came into Denver in 2025 and beat the Broncos by 14. Offensive coordinator Davis Webb had a great second-half performance in the win, helping the offense gain 392 yards, which more than doubled the yardage marks from Week 1 against the Kansas City Chiefs.

The Broncos got back to .500 in the midst of the toughest stretch of the year.
Here is a sampling of how Broncos Twitter reacted to the first win of the season!
Needing to salt the game away, rookie Jonah Coleman has 33 yards on this drive. And he showed he is an old football soul, by sliding once he broke free on last attempt to run out more clock. Kid gets it. And could be needed more depending on Dobbins' hamstring injury. #Broncos

Jonah Coleman picks up the first down and smartly goes down.

The Broncos will kneel out the clock after the two-minute warning and improve to 1-1.
17 unanswered points for Denver in the second half — and held the Jags to just three points after the break.
Impressive win.

Waddle is him man. Way better than I thought he would be.

Massive win considering the slate they have. Offense looked so much better in the second half without the operational penalties and miscues. Nix settled down and made some high level throws, Webb made some really well timed calls, defense was nails. Jonah Coleman shined, Waddle…

Meanwhile, Bo Nix's second half: 11/15, 132 yards and a 122.1 passer rating. https://t.co/r1cQnmOCvV

Broncos 20, Jags 13 -- FINAL
— Andrew Mason (@MaseDenver) September 20, 2026
The second-half Broncos showed up in a big way once again. They scored 17 unanswered points in the second half. Waddle got untracked for 138 yards. Patience with ground game paid off late. Pass rush was electric. Denver is 1-1.
#Broncos close out the Jags with a 4:41 drive. A 20-13 home-opening win.

Big bounce-back for Vance Joseph's defense and the Denver offense got it in gear eventually.
The record: 1-1.
GREAT win for the Broncos

1-1 on the season.
Once the offense got in rhythm, they never looked back.
Defense was swarming. Allowed 13 points.
Jaylen Waddle with the massive impact we’ve been waiting for.
POSTGAME THOUGHTS??
Convincing bounce back for the Broncos. Offense had a new look once Waddle started percolating. You could see the stress the Jags were under once he started running free. Pass rush got back to doing what it does, much more effective than the two sacks illustrated.
