Pat McAfee explains ESPN smoking allegation

NFL fans hit out at McAfee over the smoking allegation following his show on Thursday afternoon.

However, the presenter was keen to have his say on the matter, as he took to social media platform X to brush off the suggestion.

“Little sage never hurt nobody…” McAfee joked.

“Also This Buffalo Bills team came out on fire in their new home.. just smokin’ the Lions in all phases.”

The 39-year-old has developed the reputation as somewhat of a joker during both his NFL and presenting career.

McAfee was keen to address the suggestions and he did so in a way that certainly stays true to the personality he has established for himself.

What will come of the accusations remains to be seen, but the presenter will be expected live on air later on Friday to run down the Buffalo Bills’ victory over the Detroit Lions.
