One reason the Los Angeles Rams entered the season with such high expectations is their continuity on the offensive line. Returning all five starters who finished 2025 at an elite level, the line kept Matthew Stafford clean, while also helping Kyren Williams and Blake Corum rush for nearly 2,000 total yards.
In the season opener, they got back to work. They have some things to fix as pass protectors, but their ability to get downhill is in midseason form. Coleman Shelton and Warren McClendon were among the top players in run block win rate on the interior offensive line and at tackle, respectively.

According to ESPN analytics, Shelton was graded as the second-highest center behind Tampa Bay's Graham Barton and fourth overall among interior linemen, securing 24 wins out of 27 plays. McClendon also earned 25 wins out of 27 plays, ranking fourth among tackles.
Williams and Corum combined for 21 carries, rushing for 95 yards and the team's only score of the game, a Williams rushing touchdown. Ronnie Rivers also added five carries for 19 yards.
With the team operating at its best when rushing the football, expect the line to be called upon once more with a strong New York Giants team waiting around the corner.
