"He has no boundaries," Gingrich said during a "Hang Out With Sean Hannity" podcast episode taped at last week's Republican midterm convention in Dallas.
"It's good, and it's bad..." he continued. "He's totally authentic. Now the problem with that is he's not editable because he's totally authentic."

Gingrich made the remarks after Hannity asked what sets the president apart from other leaders, prompting the former House speaker to reflect on a president he has known for years.
During the discussion, the former speaker also pointed to Trump's wide-ranging areas of focus and his tendency to move quickly from one issue to another, noting recent actions involving space policy.

"He's interested in everything..." Gingrich said. "He puttered along for a while, and he suddenly, bam, [he] did a bunch of very decisive, very important things, and now he's off doing something else."
In recent weeks, Trump signed a new national space transportation policy aimed at expanding U.S. launch capacity and issued an executive order creating a commission to develop a proposal for a NASA-led U.S. Space Academy.
Gingrich has been a prominent supporter and ally of the president since his first term, frequently offering favorable assessments of his style, policies and approach to governing. He wrote extensively about Trump's rise during the 2016 campaign and has authored books examining his presidency.
His latest assessment came as Republicans gathered for the party's first-ever midterm convention, where Trump and Vice President JD Vance addressed party members as the GOP works to retain its congressional majorities for the remainder of Trump's second term.
