NFL Week 1 concludes Monday night with the Broncos taking on Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs. However, the pregame festivities had all eyes on Waddle after joining the Broncos from the Miami Dolphins.

Bo Nix’s new go-to target is showing off his incredible footwear for the occasion with custom penguin cleats. Waddle is clearly leaning into his last name after using the penguin waddle as a touchdown celebration in the past.

The Broncos are hopeful that Waddle can get off to a hot start as Denver aims to make another deep playoff run. Last season, Nix and Co. fell short in the AFC Championship Game against the New England Patriots.

Waddle’s custom cleats certainly take a clever approach for the Monday Night Football setting. The penguin is seen wearing the Broncos star’s jersey with a stunning white, navy blue and orange color scheme.

Denver enters Week 1 with a talented receiving group that features Waddle, Courtland Sutton and Pat Bryant. Meanwhile, Nix’s return after getting injured in the AFC Championship Game is a huge lift for the team in Week 1.
