Former Jaguars RB Travis Etienne makes Saints debut
Etienne ended up carrying the ball a team-high 10 times against the Detroit Lions and totaled 47 yards, while averaging 4.7 yards per attempt.
He was also very active in the passing game, catching 7-of-8 targets for 32 additional yards.
Without Etienne, the Jaguars turned to Bhayshul Tuten, who totaled 66 rushing yards on 15 carries. Chris Rodriguez also carried the ball six times for 23 yards.
Etienne was the 25th overall pick by the Jaguars in the 2021 NFL draft.
