Bavarian Loan Works: Bayern Munich loanees battle for results this week

After a couple goals and assists last week, Bayern Munich’s loanees were unable to find the back of the net or set up a goal for their teams. Javier Fernández and Marcus Dalpiaz had stellar performances on the defense, but only one ended up with a win. See how everyone did this week, including how long Anna Wellmann was able to keep her shutout streak.
FC Bayern Munich
Germany – Bundesliga
Arijon Ibrahimović is the only player on loan in the Bundesliga

Arijon Ibrahimović – FC AugsburgIbrahimović started for Augsburg at home against Bayer Leverkusen on Saturday. He had three shots — one on goal, one off target, and one missed. He was unable to create any chances for his teammates to shoot and only completed just over half of his passes. He was subbed out in the 58th minute with his team up 2-1. Patrik Schick came off the bench for Leverkusen and scored an equalized in the 89th minute to take points away from Augsburg for the first time this season. The match ended 2-2.
Augsburg will make the long trip up to face Werder Bremen on Saturday.
Spain – LaLiga
Bryan Zaragoza is the only player on loan to Spain’s LaLiga
Bryan Zaragoza – EspanyolZaragoza came off the bench for Espanyol, away to his Osasuna — where he spent a season on loan in 2024/25. Espanyol was up 2-0 when he entered in the 80th minute. He only had five touches and did not have time to influence the match. He helped his team hold on to the 2-0 win.
Espanyol will play in the league twice this week — on Tuesday, away to Rayo Vallecano and on Friday, at home against Elche.
Germany – 2. Bundesliga
Felipe Chávez is the only player on loan from the first team to Germany’s 2. Bundesliga.
Felipe Chávez – 1. FC MagdeburgChávez was on the bench for Magdeburg’s home match against Kaiserslautern. He entered the match in the 73rd minute with his team up 3-0. He had the chance to add to the score with a shot on target and chance created for his teammate to shoot, but he could not add to the score. The match ended in a 3-0 home win for Magdeburg.
Magdeburg will travel to face Greuther Fürth on Friday.
FC Bayern II
Germany – 2. Bundesliga
There are two players from the second team on loan to Germany’s 2. Bundesliga: Javier Fernández and Deniz Ofli.
Javier Fernández – 1. FC NürnbergFernández started for Nürnberg at home against Hannover 96 and played the full 90 minutes. After his team went up in 1-0 in the fifth minute, Fernández conceded a penalty which was converted to equalize just three minutes later. He was able to shake it off and had a decent game after that. He had three shots — two off target and one blocked — and created a chance for his teammates to shoot, while completing 94% of his pass attempts. On defense, he helped his team hold Hannover to the one PK goal by contributing three tackles, five clearances, three interceptions, and six recoveries. Nürnberg scored another first half goal and held onto a 2-1 win at home.
Nürnberg will travel to face Ofli and Karlsrhuer SC on Saturday.
Deniz Ofli – Karlsruher SCOfli was not on the matchday squad for KSC’s 3-0 home loss against Energie Cottbus.
KSC will host Fernández and Nürnberg on Saturday.
Germany – 3. Liga
Richard Meier is the only player on loan to Germany’s 3. Liga.
Richard Meier – SV MeppenMeier started for SV Meppen way to SC Verl. He played 76 minutes at center forward and saw his team go up 1-0 right before halftime and then concede right after the break. He left the match with the match all square, but Meppen conceded within a minute of him being subbed off. Meppen fell 2-1 on the road.
Meppen will have two 3. Liga matches this week — Tuesday, at home against Viktoria Köln and Saturday away to Hoffenheim II.
Austria – Bundesliga
Magnus Dalpiaz is the only player on loan to Austria’s Bundesliga.
Magnus Dalpiaz – TSV HartbergDalpiaz started and played the full 90 minutes for Hartberg on the road to WSG Tirol. He did not have a shot or chance created for his teammates to shoot, but had the joint-most defensive contributions of anyone from either team. He recorded seven tackles, five clearances, one interception, and four recoveries. Hartberg were up 2-0 at halftime and still looked likely to win all three points on the road until a 90+5 minute penalty earned a draw for the hosts. The match ended 2-2.
Hartberg will host LASK on Sunday.
Spain – LaLiga2
Julien Yanda is the only player on loan to Spain’s LaLiga2.
Julien Yanda – EldenseYanda was on the bench for Eldense’s 1-0 win away to Sporting Gijón but did not make it onto the pitch.
Coming off of their first win of the season, Eldense hosts Eibar on Saturday.
FC Bayern Frauen
Spain – Primera División Femenina
Anna Wellmann is the only player on loan to Spain’s Primera División Femenina.
Anna Wellmann – SD EibarAfter two consecutive shutouts for Wellman, she started again for Eibar as they hosted Levante. Wellman was able to keep the shutout for the first half, but then the wheels fell off. She allowed four goals in the second half and recorded just two saves. Overall, the guests had 19 total shots to Eibar’s four. Eibar pulled one goal back but fell 4-1 at home.
Eibar will host Athletic Club Bilbao on Sunday.
