Cops are warning the public about a series of residential break-ins across the city, while also seeking to identify a suspect linked to the case.

Toronto Police said they first began investigating a series of brazen daytime break-ins on Tuesday in the Davisville Village area from Mount Pleasant Rd. and Eglinton Ave. E. to Bayview and Davisville Aves.
Police said a male suspect approached several homes in the middle of the day, knocked on doors several times and then “forcefully” entered the properties.
They said jewelry, wine and other small objects were taken. No one was home during the incidents.
Police said a similar incident was then reported on Saturday in the Danforth Ave.-Main St. area in the city’s east end after a male suspect approached a home at midday, knocked several times and then “forcefully” entered.
Again, no one was home and jewelry, wine and more small objects were taken.
Police said they are looking for a man in his 50s or 60s who is bald, has a grey mustache and a tattoo on his left forearm. He was last seen wearing black-framed glasses, a red long-sleeve shirt, black pants, a gold watch and black running shoes with white soles.

Another elopee sought by cops
Cops are on the hunt for another elopee who went missing Saturday in the South Parkdale neighbourhood.
Toronto Police said that Bryson Osmond, 34, was last seen at about 5:40 p.m. in the Dowling Ave.-King St. W. area. He is bound by a Form 49 warrant of committal after being found not criminally responsible for three counts of failure to comply with a probation order.
Osmond is bald and about 6-foot-2 with a large build. He was last seen wearing a dark Adidas track jacket, dark pants, Crocs and a black Fox Racing baseball cap.
Police said to not approach him if located and contact 911 immediately. Information can also be sent to police at 416-808-1400.
