In another post, Rassie posted a picture with Bok staff who also sported chiskops, like him.

“Rules are rules”, he casually captioned the post.

FOR ALL SOUTH AFRICANS

Speaking after the Springboks’ Greatest Rivalry series win and his 100th test appearance as coach, Rassie Erasmus thanked South Africans for their loyal support.

He said in a post-match interview of rugby fans who had travelled to Baltimore to watch the Boks: “It was awesome to see so many South Africans here; I don’t know how they afford it or how they got here, but it’s great.”

Rassie emphasised that the victory was for all South Africans, including those who could not afford to watch their team play.

He added, “We really care the most about South African people. There’s only one reason we do this.

“We want to win and feel great for us as a team, but that’s why we play rugby. We just want to please South African people.’
