Georgia wins in dominant fashion vs. Western Kentucky in CFB 27 Sim
· Yahoo Sports
The No. 2 Georgia Bulldogs will hope to continue their dominance against non-Power 4 opponents with the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers coming into town. The Hilltoppers suffered a rough 49-14 loss to the Nevada Wolf Pack, and the Bulldogs are coming from a 63-3 victory over the Tennessee State Tigers. Safe to say, fans are expecting a blowout, and our College Football 27 sim lends credence to that claim.

The game was never close at any point. Georgia put up two touchdowns in the first: one from Gunner Stockton to London Humphreys from six yards out and a 29-yard Nate Frazier run. Peyton Woodring kicked a field goal in the second to make it 17-0 Georgia before Western Kentucky finally got on the board with a field goal from 50 yards out.
Georgia answered with two more touchdowns: one to London Humphreys again from Gunner Stockton to close out the second and another from Stockton to Sacovie White-Helton with 4:03 to go in the third. It was 31-3 Georgia before Western Kentucky running back Ajay Allen ran it in from 11 yards out to make it 31-10. Georgia got another touchdown late in the fourth from Nate Frazier to reach the final score of 38-10.
Stockton had a great day, although he did make some mistakes. He went 29 for 35 with 306 yards and three touchdowns, but he also threw an interception. Still, he was helped out by Nate Frazier, who carried the ball 21 times for 113 yards and two touchdowns. The Georgia defense had 25 tackles for loss and 10 sacks as well.
With the spread being 40 1/2 for Georgia, that would mean the Hilltoppers covered. Considering Georgia doesn't often cover against non-Power 4 teams, that's in the realm of possibility. We'll see what Georgia gets done on Saturday in their last game before Power 4 play.
