Star defensive lineman Chris Jones was added to the Kansas City Chiefs' injury report on September 11 ahead of the team's 'Monday Night Football' matchup against the Denver Broncos in Week 1 of the 2026 NFL regular season.
Jones —who is one of the Chiefs' most important pass-rushers — is said to be dealing with a calf injury that limited his participation in Kansas City's Friday practice session.

If Jones' calf injury worsens before the Chiefs' primetime tilt against Denver, Kansas City will rely on Khyiris Tonga, Peter Woods, and Bryson Eason to provide push in the middle of Steve Spagnuolo's front four in Week 1.
