Will Bills WR DJ Moore go for over 1,000 receiving yards in 2026?

· Yahoo Sports

Buffalo Bills star DJ Moore looks like a strong bet to go for over 1,000 receiving yards in 2026, and there is plenty of reason to believe that he will meet that mark.

Moore’s talent has never been the question. The bigger issue has been getting back into his groove as a perennial threat to amass 1,000 yards receiving after a down year in 2025 with the Chicago Bears.

In Buffalo, he has an opportunity to thrive as the primary receiving component of an offense built around Josh Allen’s ability to stretch the field and create explosive plays.

That combination may show itself to be dangerous throughout the year.

Moore is at his best when he is given opportunities to attack defenses. His speed, route-running and ability to turn short catches into substantial gains make him a natural fit for an aggressive Bills passing game.

The veteran pass-catcher also showed positive signs in the preseason with his play, and the effect that Allen will have on him goes without saying, so long as both stay healthy.

Realistically, 1,000 receiving yards is not an ambitious prediction for Moore—it is well within reach for him. In the event that he receives the volume targets that his talent warrants, expect Moore to once again look like a stout receiving threat in the league.
