Week 2 of the 2026 college football season gets underway on Thursday, September 10, ahead of a thrilling weekend that is headlined by a blockbuster primetime showdown between the No. 1 Ohio State Buckeyes and No. 4 Texas Longhorns in Austin.

Ahead of a busy weekend, the fine folks at Awful Announcing dropped the latest announcer schedule for the Week 2 action with ABC’s A-team of Chris Fowler, Kirk Herbstreit, Holly Rowe, and Laura Rutledge on the call.
FOX is rolling out play-by-play announcer Gus Johnson, analyst Joel Klatt, and sideline reporter Jenny Taft for its broadcast of No. 11 Oklahoma vs. Michigan, while CBS’ Brad Nesslar, Charles Davis, and Jenny Dell draw duties for Mississippi State at Minnesota.
