This was the first game for Barr since he suffered a broken leg that ended his season in 2025. The Irondequoit offense missed having the 6-foot-3 Barr to turn to, but the Eagles remained undefeated during the regular season while relying heavily on the team's running game.

Barr was back against Gates Chili, scoring a 21-yard rushing touchdown that gave Irondequoit a 14-7 lead with 5:01 remaining in the first quarter. The Eagles led 27-7 with 7:43 remaining in the second quarter after an 8-yard touchdown reception by Barr.
