Donyell Malen has had a phenomenal start to the season.
The former Borussia Dortmund, PSV, and Aston Villa striker, now playing for Roma, has scored five goals in the first two league games and shows no signs of slowing down.
Juventus coach Luciano Spalletti also praised the Dutch striker’s qualities to Sport Mediaset: “He’s certainly a player who has piqued a lot of curiosity. In addition to scoring goals, he attacks space 30 times with strength and pace; he’s a strong player.”
Spalletti continued: “We have Yildiz, who in my opinion is the best. Lautaro was just a kid when I was coaching Inter, but he was already showing all his qualities. At Napoli I coached Di Lorenzo, and he’s one of the best there is. Nico Paz showed us his qualities.”
During the interview, Spalletti also spoke about emerging coaches, having warm words for former Roma coach Daniele De Rossi: “He’ll become a great coach because he has a high level of knowledge of football and life.”
