The Florida State Seminoles are looking to get off on the right foot against Conference USA foe New Mexico State this Saturday, but it's possible Mother Nature is going to throw a wrench into those plans.

The National Weather Service in Tallahassee is predicting "showers and possibly a thunderstorm, mainly before 11 a.m. ET, then a chance of "showers and thunderstorms" after 11 a.m." with a high near 86 degrees. At night, it's expected to be mostly cloudy during the early evening, then becoming clear, with a low around 72 degrees.
"The highest rain chances are generally in the morning, with it clearing out in the afternoon. But there is the possibility of redevelopment in the evening," NWS Tallahassee Meteorologist Wright Dobbs told me.
If lightning strikes during the game, NWS Tallahassee recommends fans seek shelter and follow the advice of local emergency management and stadium officials.
