4 recent Cardinals draft picks face potential end of the line

The Arizona Cardinals have their final preseason game on Friday, and it might be the end of teh line ofr some recent Cardinals draft picks. Four players drafted either in 2023 or 2024 find themselves in a possible make-or-break situation for the roster.

OLB BJ Ojulari
The 2023 second-round pick has had an injury-riddled career. He has played two half-seasons in three years. He is battling Eku Leota for what is likely the final OLB spot on the roster. Ojulari hasn't shown much and Leota, and he plays a lot on special teams.
ILB Owen Pappoe
Pappoe, a 2023 fifth-round pick, is battling rookie Karson Sharar for what is probably the final spot in the inside linebacker rotation. He has been huge on special teams, logging more than 300 snaps the last two seasons, but Sharar is the new guy, is also making plays on special teams and has upside on defense.
CB Kei'Trel Clark
The sixth-round pick in 2023 is deep in the cornerback rotation. He has found his way on the roster each of the last two seasons, but has Elijah Jones, Star Thomas and other guys to beat out.
CB Elijah Jones
The 2024 third-round pick is vying for a sixth cornerback spot on the roster with Will Johnson, Max Melton, Denzel Burke, Garrett Williams and Sean Murphy-Bunting appearing to be locks for the final roster.
